Lauren Duncan and her teammates have been counting down the days for Tuesday night's Class AAA championship volleyball rematch.

"We have been practicing all the way from the beginning of summer for this and just waiting so long," the Brentwood High School senior setter said. "We wanted to come out strong and be competitive and just play our best."

The "best" might not have been achieved, however, pretty darn good was – and its only August – as the Bruins won the highly touted rematch with defending state champion Nolensville in straight sets 25-18, 25-20, 25-23.
