An early breakthrough on defense led to a balanced offensive attack by the Class 5A Centennial High School football team in a 37-6 win Thursday against visiting Class 6A Franklin in the annual crosstown clash.
Centennial (2-4) snapped a three-game losing streak by securing the fourth win in the last five meetings with the Admirals. It's the momentum the Cougars have been seeking, according to coach Jay Graham.

"They got to believe in each other and validate it with their play."
