In a matchup more than two decades in the making, the Page High School football team defeated Brentwood for the first time on Friday night, shutting down the visiting Bruins 30-0.

The pair of Williamson County programs last played in 2002 with Brentwood winning all six previous meetings. Trench leader and Page senior Jacob Rathbone was impressed with how his team came together for the shutout.

"I feel like this is a big confidence booster," said Rathbone, son of Page coach Charles Rathbone and reigning region Lineman of the Year. "Props to all 11 guys on defense, even the subs. The O-line dominated."
