Page High School golfer Brooke Bennett and Nolensville High running back Tristen Lithmexay were named the Gateway Tire Athletes of the Week for the week ending Sept. 29.
Bennett won the District 10-AA golf championship last week – and also captured the region title Monday – while Lithmexay paced the Knights offense with three touchdowns in a Region 5-5A win in Week 6.
The pair were chosen as part of the Athlete of the Week awards sponsored by Garth Bouldin of Gateway Tire & Service Center in Franklin. Each week, athletes from Williamson County are selected and featured in the Williamson Herald throughout the school year.
