Brentwood Volleyball fought their way to the Consolation Bracket Final with straight set wins over Houston (25-21, 25-18, 25-21) and Hillsboro (25-23-25-20, 25-19) on Thursday, October 20 at Rockvale High School in Murfreesboro.  The 3rd match of the day ended in a 5-set heartbreaking loss to eventual State Runner-up Collierville 3-1 (27-25, 15-25, 25-21, 20-25, 15-12).  The teams met on Wednesday in the 2nd round, a 3-1 win for Collierville (26-24, 25-20, 19-25, 25-23).  Brentwood returned to the State Tournament after a one year absence.  Before missing the State Tournament in 2021, the Bruins had won a record 8 consecutive state titles.
